Bernkastel - Kues

I stayed in this beautiful town on a Saturday. The wine harvest was underway so festivals were being held in many towns along the Mosel. Bernkastel was packed with tourists, and the cafes were packed with beer (not wine) drinkers. As I took the above photo the band was playing "It's a long way to Tipperary."
