Luxembourg

I stayed two nights in Trier and took the train one day to Luxembourg. It was a one-hour train ride but it took me about 3 because I initially took the wrong train.

The old section of the city is well fortified, partly because of this valley on the south side. Note the old stone arches in the valley, and I was fortunate to catch a passenger train crossing the viaduct.

On the right is me in front of the palace, still occupied by the king.

When I was done seeing the sights I had a couple of beers at a sidewalk cafe. Luxembourg is a very cosmopolitan city and I enjoyed watching the people pass by.
